Thomas Hailey, 6’6″ Wunderkind Creating A Buzz! (2021)

Thomas Hailey is a 6’6″ sophomore wing that plays for the South Charlotte Thunder in Matthews, NC. There is a lot to like about this lefty. Passes the eye test with his size and fluidity moving up and down the floor. From a run & jump athletic standpoint, it’s impossible at times to not see visuals of current UNCG commit Dericko Williams. Hailey is putting up some solid stats, averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game so far this season and if you take a solid look at the highlight video above, it’s easy to see why. On and off the court, he’s been very responsive and respectful. This is the type of prospect coaches at the next level are going to love in due time. Expect to hear much more about this kid soon.
